AMSTERDAM –
(AT5) ME people went into action this afternoon at Amsterdam Central Station. 150 supporters of Willem II arrived by train. Two platforms have been filed.
Police say that none of Willem II's supporters did not behave badly.
Tonight the Tilburg club plays in the Johan Cruijff Arena against Ajax. A group of 150 supporters arrived at the central station by train. They were locked up by people on the platform. This has proved to be a precaution.
There were signs that a confrontation with Ajax fans would be happening near CS, which is why Mayor Femke Halsema issued an emergency order. 7 and 8 were evacuated by the police. As a result, train traffic to and from the central station was disrupted as other trains had to cope. This disruption seems to have been resolved, but the platforms are still closed. A squad of ME people surrounded the Brabander. They are filtered by train, but the song of the supporters can be heard throughout the station.
A spokesman for Mayor Halsema announced that they were traveling by train to the Johan Cruijff Arena. They can watch the game tonight.
