BlizzCon 2018 – These are the 3 biggest announcements

[ad_1]

Blizzard unveils, among other things, a remaster, an "old" World of Warcraft and a new Overwatch hero.

Every year, the publisher and developer Blizzard organizes its own convention. This means many announcements and many surprises for fans of different games.

Free Game
In collaboration with Bungie Blizzard, Destiny, from November 2 to 18, is completely free. PC users! This is an immediate "announcement" as it means that shooting enthusiasts can save a few dollars on a solid game. Of course, Blizzard wants to make money and several extensions are available for the game.

Diablo Immortal
For many nerds like me, Diablo is one of the biggest players. the coolest games of the dungeon crawler genre. Unfortunately, my expectations have proven true and a mobile-only title has arrived. It was just as exciting as Blizzard announcing a new Diablo for the franchise, but it turns out that it's a (new) mobile game.

That does not change the fact that the franchise is still very popular with fans. The last Diablo was released in 2012 and is still widely played by fans. The mobile version will take that feeling of a slasher, an RPG and a dungeon robot up and down to the small screen. And although I do not feel at all for mobile games, the gameplay below is pretty cool.

The game will look like MMORPG to allow you to fight bosses and erase dungeons with large groups of players. The controls look pretty smooth and the animations are solid. Keep in mind that these trailers are often an overly positive interpretation of the actual game. Oh, and Netflix may be working on a Diablo series!

The New Hero Overwatch
Finally, Blizzard comes with a new hero for his brilliant shooter Overwatch. Until recently, McCree was the only cowboy in the Overwatch universe, but that's where Ashe is. Blizzard would have been a little jealous of the success of Red Dead Redemption 2?

Be that as it may, Ashe is the leader of the band Deadlock Gang and will become a DPS hero. She has a precise gun, a shotgun to fend off enemies (or launches) and with her dynamite she blows everyone up. Oh, and his Ulti is a gigantic robot called B.O.B.

Bonus Round
In addition to all this great news, there are also niches in the Blizzard community that will be warmed by the following revelations. This is how the classic World of Warcraft comes back. Yes, WoW will be released in some kind of remastered version in the state called patch 1.12 at the time. Players with a WoW subscription simply have access to the classic version of the MMO.

In addition, the endangered Heartstone comes with a new expansion in early December. For the sake of clarity, the game is still played massively, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a little over with the online deck builder (certainly great). The new mechanics, new modes and new maps are, in my opinion, a little chewed, but who knows, it's cool.

Blizzard comes with a remastered version of the classic RTS Warcraft III. This legendary strategy game of 2002 is (with Starcraft) one of the founders of the genre as we know it. The cutscenes, graphics and mechanics are all polished and have a new look. This will take place next year.
