Toonder Studio's archives go to the Museum of Literature

Toonder (1912-2005) moved to Ireland in 1965 to devote himself fully to his work. The artist received the Tollens Award for his work in 1992.

According to the Museum of Literature, the archives also show the collaboration between the cartoon artist and his studios Toonder after his departure. Director Aad Meinderts calls this "a wonderful addition to Toonder's personal archive". This is currently the object of management by the museum.

Marten Toonder has added various words and concepts to the Dutch language.
