Rockstar is working on a patch for a common bug in Red Ded Redemption 2 where some characters disappear from your camp. Many players complained about this last week. The bug occurs as soon as you restart the checkpoint during the St Valentine's Day mission in Chapter 2 of the Polite Society.
Normally, the characters Sadie, Jack, John and Abigail simply have to hang around the camp to talk to them. If they are missing, you will see them only in chapter 4. According to Rockstar, this would have more influence on the side missions that you can undertake through them. For this, they simply appear.
A temporary solution is to record the game manually before starting the mission and play it at one time. If you have already passed this point, you can not do anything for the moment. When the fix becomes reality, it is not yet known.
