Stichting Brein is attacking a seller of a new computer with five thousand hacked games. The man's arranged for 750 euros, where 500 euros per future offense can come.
The seller was a 34-year-old man from Wijchen. After being contacted by Brein, he signed an agreement to no longer offer systems with illegal games. If he does, he incurs a fine of 500 euros.
Tim Kuik, director of the Brein Foundation, points out against the Tweakers that Brein is not taking any action against the second-hand sale of retro-computer machines from the 1980s with copied games. "There are new unmarked boxes on which the seller places and offers illegal games.
