The Bib Gourmand is awarded to restaurants offering a three-course menu of up to 37 €. At the same time, the price-quality ratio is very high. The Bib Gourmand stands out from Michelin stars by the best restaurants announced in the Netherlands on December 17th.

Alain Caron, known for the TV show Masterchef, received the Bib Gourmand for Café Caron in Amsterdam. He directs this with his sons David and Tom.

The Garage, the restaurant of restaurant owner Joop Braakhekke, died in 2016, lost his Bib Gourmand. Braakhekke has always firmly adhered to his "bib", which has been allowed to run the brewery for many years.
