Fossil comes with the Wear OS smart watch with Snapdragon 3100-soc – Tablets and Phones – News

Fossil announced a smartwatch with the new Wear 3100-soc from the Qualcomm Snapdragon series. The software is based on Google Wear OS and the watch is available immediately in the United States, but not yet in Europe.

It is the Fossil Sport, which, as its name suggests, aims primarily to measure athletic performance. There are two different formats, with 41mm and 43mm, but both have the Snapdragon Wear 3100-soc. This new company is mainly for smartwatches and should be more efficient than previous processors. Sport watches can be found on the Fossil website and are available in six different colors.

In addition to the new Qualcomm soc, the smartwatch has a heart rate sensor, a heart rate sensor, a GPS and a Wi-Fi connection, as well as a battery with a capacity of 350 mA more then a day must last. The software is based on Wear OS and the recently released version of the Spotify for Googles mobile operating system is included.

The Fossil Sport is available immediately and costs 255 USD in the United States, which makes it possible to convert the price to 225 euros. Delivery in Europe is not yet possible and Fossil has not yet announced when it will be possible.
