Microsoft Studios is constantly striving to offer new exclusive games to fans. This is partly for that reason that they have taken over the independent game studio inXile Entertainment. inXile Entertainment has a lot of experience in developing PC and RPG games.
inXile Entertainment starts working with Microsoft Studios
The gaming studio is headed by Brian Fargo, founder of Interplay, and has two development teams. inXile Entertainment is notably known in Wasteland 2, Torment: Tides of Numenera and Bard's Tale IV. She is also developing Wasteland 3 and this game will be released in 2019. The game is set in post-apocalyptic Colorado. You are one of the last survivors of Team November and you have to survive.
inXile Entertainment is known for its in-depth RPGs. Microsoft Studios offers the gaming studio the freedom and support it needs to meet its creative ambitions. This applies to existing projects, such as Wasteland 3, but also to future projects. inXile Entertainment continues to work independently and will develop new RPGs for Xbox fans.
New Xbox Exclusive Fans
Microsoft Studios now has twelve teams using all the latest Microsoft technologies to play new games. They create content for new platforms and services such as the Xbox Game Pass. With exclusive content from the Xbox, Microsoft hopes to turn players into fans. In addition, Microsoft wants to keep the fan base currently available through even more exclusive content.
