Imagine sitting on the couch and thinking about losing weight. And then you lose a few pounds. Too good to be true? These scientists do not pretend, even if you still have to do something for it.
Plymouth University researchers propose the FIT (Functional Imagery Training) method, in which your own imagination and your positive position objectives. 70 participants took the test. They followed the FIT method for six months. Another 70 received only motivational interviews. After one year, the difference in results was even greater: the FIT method resulted in a weight loss of 6.5 kg, the other workout resulted in a weight loss of 0.67 kg.
