Dane Claes Bang plays Dracula in the new series of the same name that will be produced by the BBC and Netflix. The series is produced by the creators of the series Sherlock which has won numerous awards.
"I'm delighted with this role," says Bang, 51, known for the series [25]. Borgen and the movies The girl in the spider web and The place.
"Especially because the production is in the hands of incredible talents like Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and the team responsible for Sherlock I am also very excited at the idea of play the role of Dracula: an iconic and very interesting character. "
The three part series recordings will begin next year. The episodes of Dracula will last one hour and a half and will be premiered on BBC One and broadcast on Netflix outside the UK.
