Hitman developer IO Interactive opens second studio in Malmö – Games – News

Danish game developer IO Interactive, known from the Hitman series, opens a second studio in Malmö, Sweden. The location in Malmo is now used. We still do not know exactly which projects will start.

Hakan Abrak, President and CEO of IDE, announces the opening of the new site via the IOI website. According to Abrak, the studio will contribute to the development of new content for the Hitman franchise. The Managing Director also discusses the possibilities of creating "new franchises"

In recent years, IO Interactive has mainly focused on the Hitman series. On November 14, 2018, Hitman 2 was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows.
