A fisherman rescued from a cliff after a seal attack Abroad

The group of seals and their puppies attacked the man Friday night while he was walking on Scottish Eyemouth beach. According to a Coast Guard spokesman, "The man had been fishing in the area and was walking on the beach when he met the seals and their young babies.They quickly became agitated and aggressive."

The fisherman tried to climb the rock wall but stopped half way. When night fell, he called the emergency services who had freed him from his fate.

"It is advisable for anyone to encounter a colony of seals on the beach or shoreline to leave the first sign of agitation.Active seals are rare and in this case they may have protected or defended their natural habitat and their young people, "according to a staff member on the coastguard website.
