BioWare Unveils New Star Wars Extension: The Old Republic – Games – News

Star Wars: The Old Republic receives a new extension called Onslaught. It contains two new planets, a maximum level increased, new capabilities and the introduction of tactical elements .

The two new locations are Onderon, with wild jungles, and Mek-Sha, a hollow asteroid containing a gas station full of criminals. Players also visit Dxun, an Onderon moon, where a new operation is ready, writes the developer BioWare Austin.

The Oslaught scenario unfolds on Corellia. The planet is under attack by the Sith Empire, which wants to take over the newly built shipyard of the Republic. The players have the task of defending Corellia against the Sith, but they also have the opportunity to walk and work for the Sith

The Star Wars game: The Old Republic also requires some adjustments. So-called tactical items are introduced and have their own location for equipment. These items influence the player's abilities and his style of play. The developer does not provide more information at the moment.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught is free for PC game subscribers and will be released in September. SW: TOR was originally released in 2011 and Onslaught becomes the seventh expansion of the game.
