A transfer from Jordy Clasie to Alkmaar seems to be getting closer. The AZ Fanpage website reports that Clasie has already personally completed AZ. Number four of Eredivisie must now enter into an agreement with Southampton, the midfielder's employer.
At The Saints Clasie seems to have no future. Last season, the inspector had been leased to Feyenoord. The Rotterdam team has decided to return Clasie to England at the end of the season. In Southampton, the international 17 times still has a contract until mid-2020.
AZ Fanpage "learned from reliable sources" that Clasie (27) has now made a personal agreement with AZ. Last Friday, De Telegraaf reported that the Alkmaarders had favored Clasie as a successor to Adam Maher. He moved to FC Utrecht earlier this month.
