The name Tomassen Duck-To will not speak much to the Dutch. But the company, which kills more than 8 million ducks every year in the Netherlands, is one of the leading producers of duck meat in Europe. Poulterer on a small scale

In 1964 Tomassen Duck-To was founded as a small poultry enterprise. With the chickens that he had slaughtered in a barn, young entrepreneur Aart Tomassen first converted a modest 300 guilders a week. This equates to an annual turnover of about 7000 euros.

In the Netherlands, Tomassen Duck-To records almost the entire production line. He raises the duck eggs and supplies the chicks to the related farmers. Criticism
