Bugatti announces a new model, the Divo. This supercar is not about the world speed record but dynamic driving.
At the end of August, Bugatti will unveil a new model as part of the Monterey Car Week. Although completely new? Rumors circulating since the private previews, we can conclude that it is probably a car that technically corresponds to the Bugatti Chiron. For example, the chassis and drivetrain would come from the current Bugatti model.
But where the Chiron and its predecessor Veyron are best known for their crazy speed – the Chiron is tuned electronically to 420 km / h – that's what the Divo is about driving characteristics. Compared to Chiron, the Divo, says the brand, is lighter and more agile. The newcomer has larger g forces and could be driven with the driving pleasure that performance models are known.
The next Bugatti gets a design that differs from existing models. The brand only builds forty pieces of Divo. Prices start, excluding Dutch taxes, at 5 million euros. This can rightly be called the most expensive production car of all time.
