Even in the descent towards the finish in Laruns, the Limburger could not tell the difference. The gap between Dumoulin and Thomas remains, two days from the end, one minute and 59 seconds.
Roglic wins
The stage was won by Primoz Roglic of LottoNL-Jumbo. The Slovenian hit a decisive gap in the descent of Aubisque and came solo on the competition. On the line, he had a lead of 17 seconds on the group of favorites, with in addition Dumoulin and Thomas also Chris Froome. Due to his victory and the corresponding bonus seconds, Roglic passed Froome in the standings. He is now third and also has a 13-second deficit at number two Dumoulin.
Nairo Quintana was the loser of the day. The Colombian Movistar, victorious over Portet this week, lost a lot of time and saw Kruijswijk take fifth place. De Brabander could not follow the group of favorites in the last run, but left enough time to Quintana.
The nineteenth stage of 200 kilometers was pre-marked as a queen race. With Aspin (first category), the Tourmalet and Aubisque (both outdoor categories) it was a classic Pyrenean tour. On Saturday, the riders will be waiting for a 31km time trial

On Aubisque Dumoulin and Kruijswijk and Roglic shared a few bites, but Thomas had no problem for a while. Froome's sometimes collapsed, but thanks to the help of his very young teammate Egan Bernal, he was able to catch up.
Just before the summit, the group of favorites Landa and Bardet joined. Rafal Majka, who was leading with both, was first, but the Bora-Hansgrohe Basin was resumed in the descent, after which Roglic
