In March, Google launched a beta test with Local Guides to test the Dutch version of Google Assistant and leave a comment. There is now an end to this period of testing.

Dutch Beta test Google Assistant

An anonymous informant told Androidworld that he had received an e-mail from Google Netherlands stating that the test period was almost over. The user is always invited to give their opinion, which is of course very important in a test.

Local Guides were allowed to participate in this beta test. These are people who update the information in Google Maps in different ways. This can be done by adding photos to businesses, videos in restaurants, updating opening hours of supermarkets, or placing reviews / reviews. Because they bring so much information to Google Maps, Google regularly brings them additional keys but also the ability to test new features. For example, they had access to a special Google Maps app, a recognizable Local Guide badge, and a beta test of the Dutch version of Google Assistant.

In February of this year, we were told for the first time that Dutch support in 2018 would come and in that same month we could report that it will only take a few months. Then the beta test started in March and is now over. Exactly what this means for the arrival of Google Assistant in the Netherlands and Belgium has not been announced. We will have to wait until Google Netherlands publishes more information.
