Eight Boko Haram fighters confess their collective guilt abduction

It is known that eight warriors of the Boko Haram terrorist organization were involved in the abduction of more than 250 girls in 2014. The Nigerian police announced this on Wednesday, reports the news agency Reuters. They were arrested Wednesday with fourteen other members and leaders of Boko Haram.

In 2014, more than 250 girls were kidnapped at a school in Chibok City. The mass abduction led to international unrest, in which even the White House came into action. Most girls have since been released, but dozens still do not know where they are.

A few months ago, two fighters were found guilty of participating in the kidnapping. They must be in prison for fifteen and twenty years. The convictions are part of a joint lawsuit against probably 1670 alleged members of Boko Haram.
