FC Twente has a salary: the VVCS makes a request for arbitration on behalf of eight players

Eight FC Twente players submitted an arbitration request against the club. That's what the VVCS reports, the group of interest of professional footballers.

FC Twente allegedly deducted from their agents the payroll tax of the commission for the salary of the players. No agreement on this subject would have been concluded in advance. According to the VVCS, apart from the players, Twente wants to join forces with the tax authorities.

"This agreement expressly leaves room for resolving this payment with no tax implications for the players", according to the players union. "Because Twente refused to correct the deductions, there remained only the path of the KNVB's arbitration committee."

Twente players are faced with a spontaneous withholding of their salary. The VVCS informed the club in Enschede that the club had voluntarily reached an agreement and that its financial consequences could not simply be recovered from the players. We do not know which players are involved.
