Feyenoord will travel to Marbella again in Spain during the winter holidays. The Rotterdammers are flying on Tuesday, Jan. 8, and will remain in the resort until Sunday, Jan. 13, they warned via club channels on Thursday.
The winner of the cup will be entitled to Marbella, who will start on January 19 an away match against PEC Zwolle. Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst will essentially be going in camera all week, but plan to hold a single public training for the press and supporters. In addition, they are always looking for a training partner on Friday or Saturday.
The Spanish coastal town is certainly not an unknown territory for Feyenoord, who has also been to Marbella during the winter holidays over the past six years. Last season, they even organized a special training camp in Spain in the lead-up to the AZ Cup final.
