The return of the Copa Libertadores final between the Argentinian River Plate and Boca Juniors will take place on Sunday, December 9 in Santiago Bernabéu, announced Thursday the South American federation Conmebol.
Last Tuesday, the Conmebol already announced that the second final match between River Plate and Boca Juniors would be completed outside of Argentina. Among others, Miami (USA), Asunción (Paraguay) and Genoa (Italy) have been nominated for the guest post.
The Conmebol decided on Thursday that the "Superclásico" would be finished in the Real Madrid stadium. According to some information, the kickoff would occur at 20:45.
The rivals River Plate and Boca Juniors match will take place in the River Plate stadium last Saturday, but was canceled after an attack on the Boca Juniors team bus, in which several players were wounded.
Supporters of River blew up the tear gas bus. The match would be played Sunday, but was postponed to a later date.
The first match ended in a draw
The first match between the two teams in Buenos Aires ended two and a half weeks ago, tied for 2-2. in La Bombonera, the stadium of Boca Juniors. This confrontation was also postponed for one day, and then because of bad weather.
