The FNV union will resume ambulance relay activities tomorrow. Consultations between the union and the employers took place this week. The FNV claims that the employers, united with Ambulancezorg Nederland, did not wish to speak about the collective agreement of this year, but only of that of 2019.

The union had already suspended the actions in punishment. Tomorrow, they will be resumed in Rotterdam and the North-North Holland region and from Thursday in Utrecht and The Hague. According to the FNV

Fred Seifert, director of FNV Zorg en Welzijn, declares that the employees of the ambulance are furious with the organization of the Ambulancezorg Nederland branch. According to the union, employers Tuesday did not suddenly want to talk about a temporary change in terms of employment for this year, but only the collective agreement for next year. This, according to the FNV, also ended the results of the negotiation obtained in June.

The CNV agreement

The CNV union has concluded this week by agreement in principle for next year with Ambulancezorg Nederland. Members still need to talk about it

The FNV is calling for a 7.5% salary increase for this year and 3.5% for next year. According to Seifert, the pay of ambulance personnel is lower than that of other health personnel and the workload is high.

In punctuality campaigns, FNV paramedics scrupulously respect the rules. As a result, the job will take longer. Ambulance employees will not drive at a speed greater than the maximum speed, will not respect the working and rest times and will not rise unnecessarily.
