Much promotion and teasing, but the mystery continues to interest us.
In late June, millions of Fortnite fans around the world watched a virtual rocket that caused virtual cracks in a virtual map. What all this means exactly is still not clear, but it is clear that it is the fifth season of the popular Battle Royale game. That's what we all know about the coming season.
New Record
The recent mysterious events of Fortnite awaken the fantasy of almost all players and even non-players (like me) can not help but be a little interested. Many speculations after the faults and extraterrestrial travels revolve around the journey in time. Maybe this will open the portal (literally and figuratively) to new maps.
What we can expect is not yet clear, but what changes need to be made is certain. Maybe the current card is getting some adjustments, but it is much more likely that players can start playing on a brand new card or on the old card that has been completely transformed visually.

New Items and Battle Pass [19659004] Unless there is an unforeseen price change, the Battle Pass in play will simply cost 950 V-Bucks (about 10 € ). For that, you will always have access to exclusive challenges, skins, emotes and XP multipliers. We also know for sure that many new items, emotes and skins will come to the game exceptionally addictive, but up to now only the mask of the header photo has been praised.
Fortnite in the Real World
Support for theories on time travel or gaps in space-time has (presumably) capitalized Epic Games on the success of advertising surrounding the launch of the rocket. Fortune objects have been found in various places around the world. Fortunate lamas were spotted in European cities and the next citizen suddenly appeared in the desert in Los Angeles.

Release date
On July 12 at 10 am Dutch time the patch for v5 .0 launched and as usual, all challenges are swept away. A few hours before the patch goes online, the server will be taken offline for maintenance for a few hours, after which the game will be played around 10:00. The fifth season will last 10 weeks and will continue until September 20th. An hour after the launch of the patch, the weekly challenges will be launched.
