The game has been around for a year
When Fortnite was released a year ago, it took a long time for the game to become as popular as the current game. We can say that the game is now at its peak. Next week, the game will have exactly one year and, of course, Epic Games wants to reflect on this joyous fact.
Effective July 24, Epic Games will launch a temporary event in-game. Players will have the chance to win unique cosmetic items related to Fortnite's birthday. A must for the collector of course. Players have the chance to win these items by completing challenges and quests in Fortnite that are part of the event at stake.
The event runs until August 7th. Check below what birthday challenges mean exactly and what you need to do to get a reward.
- Inflict 1000 damage to opponents to unlock Fortnite's birthday! Emoticon
- Dance to the birthday cake to unlock the happy birthday! Play 14 games to unlock 5,000 XP
- Complete all 3 challenges for the birthday cake Back Bling
- Complete the Fortunity Quest Series in Save the World and the Anniversary Brigade
- Ramirez Hero! Earn tickets to spend on Birthday Llamas that can hold Heroes and Weapons for each event this year (not counting quest rewards).
