FvD petition against "Marrakech" signed 65,000 times Interior

Thierry Baudet's party is working on social media to gather as many votes as possible against the pact on migration. The Forum for Democracy wants to use the petition to "strengthen" the pressure on the government. Critics fear the worst if the Netherlands ratifies the pact, as it would be easier for migrants to settle in the Netherlands. As many as 95% of the 5,000 twitter users think it's "a bad plan" if the Netherlands is in agreement with the December migration pact. Earlier, political commentator Syp Wynia and VVD celebrity Frits Bolkestein also criticized the treaty.

The coalition thinks it has found a solution to the persistent noise of the Marrakesh migration pact. VVD, CDA, D66 and CU sort for a UN voting statement when adopting the pact. This should create an additional guarantee that migrants can not obtain additional rights.

A UN session on the pact will be held on December 10 in the Moroccan city of Marrakech
