Galaxy smartphones benefit from a Samsung One user interface optimized for long screens – Tablets and phones – News

Samsung will launch a new interface on Galaxy smartphones starting next year. This is called One UI and is aimed at long screens with buttons in the lower half of the screen.

One UI takes long screens into account by putting only the content on the top half that users only need to see. All pop-up windows and commands are at the bottom, making it easier for users to access.

In addition, new color models are available. The themes have the same color accents as the devices themselves, so the interface and the material will be in the same color scheme. The entire interface can switch to dark mode after sunset to be more comfortable when used in the evening and at night. In addition, the interface features more simple contrast icons and icons to clarify what the apps are or what the flip flops are doing.

Samsung will launch a beta version of One UI in November in Germany, but also in the United States and South Korea. This is followed by a test version for other countries. An upgrade with One UI for the Galaxy S9, S9 + and Note 9 is scheduled for the beginning of next year.
