Among other things, the game communication platform Discord, Spotify, Snapchat, CNN and games like Pokémon Go and Rocket League had problems because of the problem.
Google reported a problem with Google Cloud Global Loadbalancer causing an error message 502 (incorrect gateway). This put in trouble services such as AppEngine Stackdriver and Dialogflow.
The breakdown began around 9:15 pm CET and was resolved around 10 pm. Affected services using Google Cloud should now work again.
