Thursday night was the final game of the last 16 games of the Darts Grand Slam. Among these last 16, we saw, among others, the Dutch Michael van Gerwen and Wesley Harms in action.

Jonny Clayton impressed last Sunday with an average of 104.44 Michael van Gerwen, who started nearly 108 on average, was already impressed. That was his highest TV average ever so far. This time, Krzysztof Ratajski had to recognize his superior in Ferret unleashed by no less than 10-3. Clayton has not improved on Sunday's average with 104.04 points.
Michael Unterbuchner again showed his class and sent James Wade, who won the last two tournaments of the PDC TV channel, 10-6 at home.
Wesley Harms has not reached his level and so has nothing to do against Gary Anderson. The Scottish was clearly too big for Sparky 10-2
As expected, Michael Smith and Michael van Gerwen gave a college darts lesson. In the end, Van Gerwen scored 10-8

Because of the defeats of James Wade and Michael Smith, there are no more English in the tournament. It is therefore the first Grand Slam of Darts in history where no English has reached the quarterfinals.
Michael Unterbuchner is the best BDO player in this Grand Slam of Darts.
We also saw a remarkably large number of group winners. On Wednesday, Gerwyn Price was the only group to reach the quarter-finals. It was only Jonny Clayton and Gary Anderson on Thursday and we see only three group leaders in the quarter-finals and three repetitions of a group match, namely Gerwyn Price vs. Simon Whitlock, Jonny Clayton against Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson against Michael Unterbuchner. In the other quarter-finals, friends Mensur Suljovic and Dimitri van den Bergh met.

Clayton takes a break at 100 points 2-0 in advanced. The Welsh finishes 81 for a 12 darter and 3-0. This time for 11 darts and 7-2. Clayton takes a break via a 13-darter and now leads 9-3. Clayton decides the match with a finish of 80 to 10-3.

James Wade (93.76) 6-10 Michael Unterbuchner (94.24)
Unterbuchner finished 66 to give a 2-1 lead via a break pack. Wade lacks three legs. Unterbuchner punishes this and takes the first break with 4-1. BullyBoy misses and Mighty Mike punishes this by forcing a crucial first break for 9-7. Van Gerwen misses the target for an arrival in 124, while Smith takes advantage of an arrival in 76 for a record of 8-9. Van Gerwen lacks Tops for 145 and victory.
