Reverend Ruben van Zwieten (35) and writer Heleen van Royen (53) are among those who attended the dinner of presenter Johnny de Mol.
The Comedy Central television channel announces the first two roasters that the son of John de Mol and Willeke Alberti will insult this charity.
Van Zwieten is nicknamed the "Vicar of the Zuidas". De Mol's good friend recently blessed the 39-year-old presenter's wedding with Anouk van Schie
Van Royen is best known for his books The Happy Housewife, The Male Star and Best Friend . "I've had a lot of you lately, you've become so good, you're sleeping … I hope this roast brings the brewery back to life," he wrote to De Mol.
Besides Van Zwieten and Van Royen, comedian Peter Pannekoek of the party again, as with the previous roasts of Gordon (2016) and Giel Beelen (2017). De Mol's roast will be on December 18th at Comedy Central.
Celebrities are roasted by acquaintances
In America's roasts, famous people are confronted with embarrassing moments and striking features. In the seventies, they were made by the group of friends of singer Dean Martin. Among them, Martin himself, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Hugh Hefner and Muhammad Ali were guests of honor at the time.
Since 2003, Comedy Central has revived the roast. Since then, Pamela Anderson, Charlie Sheen, James Franco, Justin Bieber and Donald Trump have been roasted by professional comedians and other famous guests.
