What should have been a wonderful honeymoon has ended in a nightmare for an Israeli couple. When the honeymooners in Honduras wanted to ride the cable car over the treetops, things went wrong.
Egual Tishman (24) and Shif Fanken (27) flew from Israel to Central America to enjoy a relaxing cruise. In Roatan, the largest island off the coast of Honduras, they left, like all passengers, to explore the region.
Above the trees of Roatan, they were offered a ride on the zip line in the afternoon. But when the bride was halfway she got in trouble. Suddenly she was stuck and she could not move. Her husband, who had seen it too late, jumped at full speed. That's what the local fire chief told La Prensa newspaper in Honduras
Tishman died on the spot. The new bride was taken to hospital for transportation to a hospital in Fort Lauderdale, United States. There, she now undergoes many operations, writes the Washington Post
