Hundreds of thousands of travelers have been deceived by Ryanair strikes

Next week Wednesday and Thursday Ryanair's six hundred flights fell into cabin crew strike . About a hundred thousand travelers are affected by strikes, the organization writes. This concerns flights to and from Spain, Portugal and Belgium.

Passengers whose flights were canceled were informed by the airline. On the Ryanair website, one can read that various flights to and from the Eindhoven airport are also affected. These are flights to and from Ibiza, Alicante, Malaga, Faro and Porto. Flights to and from Schiphol and Maastricht Aachen Airport do not seem to be affected yet.

Ryanair cabin crew from Belgium, Portugal and Spain expressed dissatisfaction with the terms and conditions of employment. A lot of the employees work through an agency for employment with Ryanair, according to the unions there is a sham. Employees are also subject to Irish labor law, which means that they can not use social security benefits.

"Completely unjustified"

The airline claims that the strikes are "useless and totally unjustified". In a press release, the organization writes that the strikers "only disrupt family vacations". The organization also establishes a list of reasons why employees should not be dissatisfied

The talks between the unions and Ryanair are also difficult in the Netherlands. It is possible that Ryanair employees also stop here. The Trade Union Association of Dutch Circulars (VNV) announced earlier that it would take action at the earliest in August.
