The Talpa Network media company bought the YouTube channel StukTV . According to John de Mol, this is the first time a media company in the Netherlands has taken a YouTube channel. We do not know what Talpa pays for the video channel.

StukTV, founded six years ago by Giel de Winter, Stefan Jurriens and Thomas van der Vlugt, has more than 1.9 million subscribers and over 700 million views. The channel contains videos showing men performing TV viewing missions.

The Youtube channel is added to the social section of Talpa, which StukTV mainly wants to reach young people. De Winter joins Creative's leadership team as Creative Director.

"They go to a very hard-to-reach target group with the mainstream media, what they do is great, I'm a fan," says De Mol about the three founders. "With the acquisition of StukTV we make a statement: we also want to become the Dutch media company in the social field online."

RTL also maintained with StukTV but found the price too high. RTL will focus on its own channels, such as Concentrate and Juice.
