The PSV is happy to receive the compensation KNVB. "We are in agreement that the KNVB must make every effort to ensure that Champions League participants are prepared in the most optimal way for these European competitions," said coach Mark. van Bommel.

Ajax and PSV come into action this week for the third time in the Champions League season. The Amsterdam team will play at home against Benfica on Tuesday at 21:00 and the national champion Eindhoven will receive Tottenham Hotspur a day later at 18:55.
