KPN is not afraid of financial competition

According to him, the merger of numbers 3 and 4 in the Dutch telecommunications market does not change that. Brussels gave the green light to this merger on Tuesday.

KPN currently has 2.3 million fiber connections provided by Dutch households out of a total of 7.9 million households. KPN hopes to have made a million additional fiber optic connections by the end of 2021, thanks to the company's efforts with its fiber optic network. During Investor Day, the company also announced plans to save an additional 350 million euros, including labor costs. KPN has not specified the number of jobs deleted. The market took into account a major reorganization of nearly 1,500 jobs.
