Lenovo has announced a version of its Moto E5 smartphone with Android Go. The device has lower specifications than the regular E5 and comes out this month in Europe and South America for a price 109.

The new phone has been announced on the Motorola blog. In the blog, Motorola says the device has a 5.3 "screen with a ratio of 18: 9 and an 8-megapixel camera at the back. The existing Moto E5 has a 5.7 "screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and a 13 megapixel camera

If the device differs from the current Moto E5 in other aspects is not clear. This device is at 149 euros for most of the Watchwatch watch stores and is equipped with a Snapdragon 425, a 2 GB ram and a storage capacity of 16 GB, with the place for a micro-SD card. However, both variants have a fingerprint scanner and they have a 5 megapixel camera at the front.

Google announced Android Go last year. It's a lite version of Android aimed at cheap smartphones with 1GB or less of memory. Tweakers released a preview of Android Go in March.
