Mamma Mia 2: We're going back

Den Helder – They are as old as the road to Rome, the musical films, the genre in which sung, danced and acted. Films that caused distractions during difficult times, such as the depression years of the beginning of the last century. They create an unreal dream world, where it is wonderful to be swallowed by feelings of love, relationships and tangles that end well.

This century, among others, Moulin Rouge !, Hairspray, Sweeney Todd and La La Land succeed, while Mamma Mia 2008 is definitely the best in this field. Costs 90 million, yield over 600 million. Cash register!

It is quite amazing that it took 10 years for a successor to arrive, but it happened anyway. In Part 2, we see the past, Donna's youth, intertwined with the present. The swirling opening choreography on "When I kissed the teacher" shows graduate Donna (James), along with her classmates. "Life is short and the world is big," the young intelligent nurse already knows and travels around the world, first to Paris, then to Greece

Villa Donna
Back at the present time, the beautiful island of Kalokairi, where Sophie (Seyfried) is ready for the opening of the Villa Donna Hotel. It has been completely renovated and looks smooth. Three minors: her beloved mother, Donna (Streep) is dead, her boyfriend Sky (Cooper) is in New York and two-thirds of her fathers are also elsewhere. Fortunately, père father & # 39; Sam (Brosnan) is there, but just before the party starts, bad weather breaks out. There is no transportation from the mainland, or the group can not come for the guests, who are not there either.

From the present to the past to the way Donna landed on the island, discovered love and old hotel, a building trap, thrown on his lap. The film shows the islanders the message that has become so important to Donna and her daughter: "do what makes you happy"! And that's what the girl picks up and it's as well as it happens through a delayed opening with the guests, including the best friends of yesteryear. In other words, the Dynamos, with whom Donna caused an uproar. There is also an unexpected guest, not invited, but come, the grandmother of Sophie (Cher) who reports that "this kind of party is just the most fun!"

Garcia & Cher
The old Donna, played by Meryl Streep, is dead and we only see her at the end of the movie via flashbacks. This should not spoil the fun because they are all there again, the protagonists of the first part. Plus a great addition in the form of Andy Garcia and Cher, 72, who still has a beautiful dark brown voice; very suitable for the shot "Fernando". Lily James is also with her sparkling well-cast appearance like young Donna and also seems to have her throat like a nightingale.

Mamma Mia 2 has, like her predecessor, this playful mix of story, song and dance with a dose of humor. Walters and Baranski, like Rosie and Tanya, create hilarious moments, and Tanya is: "My vagina will beat faster …" always directly in the sight of a fiercely attractive gentleman. That movie inspection could go on there and the film was approved for AL, while still being the best! Great choreography, beautiful people, beautiful songs accompany a smile and a tear at the end of this summer topper. So, look!
