HILVERSUM – All DJs who must perform a long hike for 3FM Serious Request action are known. Mark van der Molen and Rámon Verkoeijen together form the third and last duet, as announced Monday afternoon.

Earlier on Monday, the names of the first two teams were announced: Sander Hoogendoorn and Eva Koreman and Rob Janssen and Jorien Renkema. They go to Utrecht from different parts of the country, where they have to go to TivoliVredenburg on Christmas Eve.

This year, 3FM takes a different approach to the annual fundraising campaign. So there is no Glass House this time, from which DJs make a radio without eating for six days. Instead, in the week before Christmas, three duos will walk across the country under the name De Lifeline for a week. They go from action to action 24 hours a day. This time, the profits will not be paid to one but to three different charities, always in collaboration with the Red Cross.

Mark and Rámon, who already form a duo on the radio, have a starting point of Hengelo and a distance of 169 km. Rob and Jorien start at Weert and have to travel 171 kilometers. Sander and Eva go to Vlieland and have the most kilometers to go: 179. DJs must arrange their own accommodation and meals en route. The duets sit alternately so that the action can continue 24 hours a day.
