Last March, Maserati presented the Levante Trofeo, a car that we thought was called Levante GTS. This new variant of Levante was the first Levante available with a 3.8-liter V8, a block that came from the Quattroporte GTS. Today, Maserati still presents a Levante GTS, a car that you should see as a softer sister of Trofeo.
Like the Levante Trofeo, the Levante GTS has access to the 3.8-liter V8 biturbo, although the block is not 590 hp as in Trofeo, but it delivers 550 hp and 730 Nm. energy, the GTS sprints in 4.2 seconds at a speed of 100 km / h, 0.3 seconds less than the Trofeo. Its top speed is 292 km / h.
The GTS is naturally stuffed inside great stuff. All leather upholstery and Harman Kardon audio system with 14 speakers. The Levante introduces for the first time Matrix LED headlights and Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC), a system that comes from the Ghibli and Quattroporte.
