McLaren Senna GTR: 825 hp and 1000 kg load of support

We already saw the Senna GTR concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but McLaren could only record preliminary numbers. Now everything is official and confirmed, only the weight remains a great mystery. The V8 4.0 with two turbos of the 720S now delivers 825 hp and 800 Nm, 25 hp more than the street version but with so much torque. This suggests that the men and women of Woking have managed to increase the top speed to over 8,000 rpm. , but McLaren already indicates that it will be lower than the street version, thanks to a stripped interior. This means a better weight / power ratio, which, with the Pirelli sheets, should ensure even faster acceleration. Not to mention the brakes: if you carry full anchors in the Senna GTR, you will not experience less than 3 g of longitudinal forces. If you keep driving hard, complex aerodynamics (and still active) will develop a ton (1000 kg) of support. We think we have almost enough to turn things around.

You have to be patient: McLaren only starts testing this month with mules inspired by the ordinary Senna. The final model has a wider frame with a very thick diffuser. We must also disappoint tired gentlemen drivers: McLaren plans to build 75 vehicles, but they are all sold at £ 1.1 million (€ 1.25 million) excluding taxes.
