At the end of last year, MediEvil, a game released on the first PlayStation in 1998, was announced for PlayStation 4. Since then, we have not heard about the game, but at the beginning of the week, new information and images were already appearing.

In the last episode of PlayStation Blogcast, Sony's Shawn Layden unveiled what the project is about. Since the announcement last year, it has been mainly taken into account that it is a remaster. However, this does not seem to be correct. Layden revealed that it was a complete remake of MediEvil, which is of course very good news.

Layden also knew that Sony was working with Other Ocean Interactive, a studio that was previously working on the development of the remake. Rick and Morty: Virtual Rickity and Minecraft for the Nintendo 3DS. The development of the MediEvil remake also involved several people who were previously responsible for the original.

Finally, Layden announced that on Wednesday, October 31, the day of Halloween, a remake trailer of MediEvil will be released. Next week, we'll see what the game looks like on PlayStation 4. We may also know when the game will appear exactly.
