Microsoft stops the sale of Minecraft: Story Mode via its software store. After the bankruptcy of Telltale, the game was borrowed from various platforms. Minecraft: Story mode is available until June 25th.

The famous sandbox game will be removed from the Microsoft Store on June 25, Mojang said in a blog post. Players are encouraged to download both seasons before they are disconnected. After that, the games can only be played once they have been downloaded. Previously, the GOG game library removed all Telltale games.

Steam had previously removed the Telltale Games from its library. Minecraft: Story Mode is not the only Telltale game that is no longer available. Tales of the Borderlands, Tales of Monkey Island and the game Back to the Future are no longer available for sale.

In the episodic game of Minecraft with two seasons of five episodes, the player follows Jesse. Jesse must find the so-called "Order of the Stone" to prevent the destruction of his game world.

The disappearance of the games is due to the bankruptcy of Telltale. In September of last year, it was announced that the studio was going to close.
