In the Netherlands, the speed of Wi-Fi is on average 44 Mbit per second and the mobile Internet 37 Mbit per second. In Belgium, the difference is still small: Wi-Fi is 34 Mbit / s on average, the mobile speed of 33 Mbit / s.

In the United States, wifi is on average 25 Mbps faster than the mobile network. Researchers expect this to change soon.
