Monique still has a hard time losing her four-legged friend. She decided to share her story to give it such a place. Yet, dealing with this great grief is not his only goal with the book. The girlfriend of André Hazes hopes to explain to the children what happens when an animal dies.

"How do you explain to your child that a dog is old or sick? How do you explain it in heaven, but also, how do you say that a dog is a family and that 'Must be good for that?' Monique asks. "Dunya was my daughter, my world and she deserves to live in the hearts of children." Monique was the owner of the dog for 14 ½ years.

Monique writes the book with a friend. "We have been working on this for a few weeks and in the coming months, I can let you see where we are now." The blonde predicts that the booklet will be released next year. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to a charity for the animals.
