The Utrecht shopping center, located along the A2 motorway, has been replaced by the owner. Investors and private property developers Build to build, as well as Urban Interest, have taken over the building of Propertize, the former property of SNS Reaal owned by the Lone Star investor.

No financial details were reported on the transaction. French bank BNP Paribas negotiated the deal. The Utrecht Wall, formerly built as a sound barrier, has a leasable area of 62,000 square meters. The center was opened in 2009, but due to the economic crisis, it had to deal with vacant premises.

The new owners want to give a new impetus to The Wall and invest heavily. Before the end of this year, retailers Apple AMAC and Sportif Decathlon have opened a branch in the mall.
