Sea of Thieves gets the free update of the content called Cursed Sails on July 31st. That Microsoft has announced.
Cursed Sails contains a new skeleton vessel controlled by the IA and a Brigantine spacecraft made for three players. In addition, the update allows you to form larger alliances to take on bigger challenges and get better rewards. Microsoft says that Cursed Sails is the biggest update to date.
A temporary campaign will introduce the new content. Subsequently, the content is available permanently for all players. You do not have to participate in the temporary event. The campaign lasts three weeks and contains skeleton ships that disturb the outposts. Pirates are challenged to fight the open sea with these skeletons. Players can also take optional side quests to discover the source of the skeletons.
Sea of Thieves was released on March 20th for PC and Xbox One. During the last E3, Microsoft teased more content for the game. For example, Forsaken Shores is expected to come out after Cursed Sails in September
