The Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has advanced the presentation of OnePlus 6T every other day, as the event would take place at the same time as Apple.
The new presentation date is October 29, writes CEO Pete Lau. the OnePlus forum. The event was planned for the first time on October 30, but the company is now turning to October 29.
"When we set the date, we were convinced to reach as many people as possible with the presentation," Lau wrote. "This has changed when Apple announced the holding of its own event on October 30. We know the industry and know that all the media are looking forward to it."
Lau states that the OnePlus presentation risks being overshadowed by Apple. Therefore, it was decided to move the event forward one day. Both events take place in New York.
The OnePlus 6T follows the OnePlus 6, which appeared earlier this year. The device receives a fingerprint scanner on the screen
It is expected that the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 845 processor. The OnePlus 6T would also have a battery of one capacity of 3,700 mAh and no headphone connection.
