Grapperhaus offered police officers Monday 7 percent more wages until 2020 inclusive. They would also receive a single payment of 500 euros next year and more influence on their own list.

The ACP consulted the other unions on the proposal, ANPV, NPB and VMHP. This shows that the proposal is inadequate and that the agents continue to take steps to make better use of it.

The police union describes Grapperhaus's offer of "gravely disappointing". According to the unions, it is "much more than a good wage offer". They highlight, among other things, the shortage of staff and the excessive pressure of work.

The Dutch Police Association states that police colleagues are fed up and will not rest until "the minister realizes the seriousness of their situation." Wednesday, there will be an immediate action during the visit of the Minister in a training center for the police of Zeeland

Negotiations for a new collective labor agreement for 65 000 police officers stop. Recently, agents have already taken action by not issuing fines, among others.
