The rescue of the eleventh boy has not yet been officially confirmed by the coordinator of the mission. The ninth and tenth youth were transported to the hospital on stretchers after their release.

Nineteen divers returned to the cave around 5:00 am Dutch time. The other three are in the cave since June 23rd.

This is the third phase of the rescue operation. On Sunday, four boys were released and four more on Monday. "We hope we are faster today or at least as fast as before," according to the coordinator.

Cave divers were over two hours faster than the day before. The rising water level, however, makes the rescue action more difficult. Infection

The Thai Ministry of Health announced that all boys who were rescued from the cave on Sunday and Monday were infected. They showed up at a thorough investigation that was conducted at the hospital. The boys underwent x-rays and blood tests. Two of them have pneumonia.

Moreover, the boys are in good health, according to the minister. They can just walk around and not have problems with their vision. They must stay in the hospital for at least a week for observation. The boys saw their families, but there was a glass wall between them. They are still quarantined due to the risk of infection.

Dangerous

Ninety divers participate in the rescue operation. The forty or so Thai divers and fifty foreign divers have to deal with a complex cave system with dark and narrow passages.

Even for very experienced divers, the journey from the entrance to the boys' location is very exhausting. Diving lines run along the road. With the rescue, each boy is accompanied by two divers.

That the road is dangerous, turned out last week when a Thai diver died in the cave. The man had delivered air bottles to the football team and was returning on the way without compressed air
