The Royal Battle-Game Fear the Wolves arrives on Steam Early Access on July 18th. This title is a fallout from Stalker, the 2007 shooter that, like Fear the Wolves, plays in the radioactivity-contaminated area around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

The game's developer, Vostok Games, reports the steamer page that Fear the Wolves is not just about fighting 99 other opponents; Players must also deal with mutated creatures, such as packs with aggressive wolves, dangerous anomalies, radiation and changing weather conditions with a day and night cycle. Players can get protective gear to enter dangerous radioactive areas where the most powerful weapons can be found.

The only map in Fear the Wolves covers 25 square kilometers and becomes the scene of two modes. There is a classic mode of royal battle where the players parachute on the map and must finally stay. If there is still a handful of players, you have to fight for a single point in a helicopter. The person who arrives on board is saved from the area and wins the round. The developer reports that there is also a second mode, which gives a certain turn to the genre, but no details have yet been published.

The new mode and a number of other elements of the game will only be available after a few months. The game is now in the beta phase. According to the developer, the game is stable, but there are still some bugs and a number of features are missing. The price of the game has not been announced yet. Somewhere in 2019, the game must come from Early Access and console users can play it too.
